Paolo Berta

Paolo had four siblings and, from being just a little boy he had a dream: to create a company of his own, that reflected his passions and values.

Driven by this flame, when he was just a boy, Paolo covered the 50 km that separated him from the Oenology school, there and back, every day for six years, aided only by his faithful bike, worn out by time. Driven by that same flame, now an adult, Paolo never gave in to the logic of quantity, pursuing quality at all costs. He was considered insane at the time; but the real insanity would have been not to listen to himself.

This Nebbiolo and Barbera grappa, patiently aged for twenty, very long years, bears witness to his teaching: it bears his name and, with it, his legacy.
