Casalotto
Mount of the Sterpeti
Village hamlets always have a special air. They are part of the initial country but at the same time remain separate from it. They live a suburban existence, swinging between a sense of belonging and the ineradicable feeling of being something else anyway. Casalotto is a hamlet of Mombaruzzo, whose name derives from Mons, mountain, and Barros, brushwoods; from this seemingly inhospitable place today a small paradise of vines and hills has been made.
