Brachetto is a sweet, aromatic, very fruity red wine that is found almost exclusively on the market in its sparkling version. It is fresh, simple and extremely soft; because of these characteristics it is essentially combined with desserts and is also widely used in some recipes, for example brachetto pears. But at one time, this wine was considered to be of great value: in fact, it was served at the court of the Savoy family and classified for its sweetness and aromaticity as a luxury wine.
