SoloperGian
SoloPerGian: a grappa created from the union of three different types of pomace, aged for eight years in 1200-liter barrels and finally aged for two years in 100-liter barrels. SoloPerGian: a unique wine cellar, dedicated to a single distillate. SoloPerGian: a Foundation that supports artisans in need and helps young people who want to learn a trade.
Here are the projects we have carried out over the years:
Ten evenings dedicated to wine, with hints of sensory analysis and in-depth discussions and tastings of the great Italian wine types. A final taste test. A scholarship for the three levels of the AIS Sommelier Course, a technical professionalizing and qualifying course for the Sommelier profession.
Our historic course The Pleasure of Wine is enriched with an evening dedicated to spirits and more meetings with producers! The award, an additional Scholarship for the three levels of the AIS Sommelier Course.
Space for spirits! In nine evenings, we learned more about the world of spirits, the difference between liqueur and brandy, and the salient features of the most popular spirits. For the winner, one month of paid internship at Berta Distilleries.
Let’s look at a topic we are passionate about, that of wine, from another point of view: regionalities and production territories. With Matteo Carosso, Andrea Castelli, Emanuel Mattei and Laura Pesce.
